French Arabian Stallion ORATION Now At Stud

Now available at public stud is the 2004 French Arabian Stallion "ORATION," the winner of six National Championships at the 2009 Sport Horse National Championships in Lexington, KY last September.

Setting a new record for winning the most National Championships at one show, ORATION is the talk of the sport horse world. Imported in utero and bred by Dianne Waldron, ORATION was destined for a career on the racetrack. Sired by the French leading racing sire DORMANE, this bay stallion didn't have the speed his other siblings have demonstrated.

So Dianne contacted Ricci Desiderio to have Oration trained as a sport horse. At his first show, Oration won 16 of his 21 classes entered! Region 15 had him going undefeated in all seven of his classes and additionally as Supreme Sport Horse Under Saddle.

Oration's next outing was SHN, where he won National Championships in 6 classes (Working Hunter Green and ATR, SHUS Jr. Horse and ATR, SHIH Stallions Open, and Hunter Hack ATR) plus Reserve in SHIH Stallions ATH and a Top Ten in Hunter Hack Open. Oration was also named Supreme Reserve Champion Sport Horse with his rider/handler Michael Desiderio winning top rider honors of SHN.

Now owned by the Desiderio's, Oration is available for breeding in 2010. See our Stallion Page for more information.

Despite the rain and the construction at the Kentucky Horse Park, Sport Horse Nationals 2009 was a huge success for Tranquillity Farm's horses and riders! Although the Hunter ring is our usualdomain, Tranquillity made a splash in the Sport Horse ring as well.

Michael Desiderio was named the High Point Rider of the show, with a total of 11 National Champions, 2 Reserves and 5 Top Tens on three different horses - Oration, TL Foolin Around and RSD Smokin Jo. Stephanie rode their homebred RSD Smokin Jo to a Championship in Open Hunter Hack and Jersey Girl JLP to a Top Ten in Green Working Hunter. Alexandria Desiderio rode her Simply Irrisistible to six Top Ten titles.

Tranquillity student Mallory Creter and her horse BHF While U Were Out were named the High Point Hunter/Jumper of the show by the Arabian-bred Hunter/Jumper Assn.  thanks to their successes. This pair won National Championships in Working Hunter AAOTR, Hunter Hack ATR & AAOTR; Reserve National Championships in Working Hunter Open and ATR and a Top Ten in Open Hunter Hack. Mallory also garnered Reserve Championships in Hunt Seat Equitation Over Fences and Under Saddle.

Debbie Bianco rode her gelding Geronimo I to five Top Ten titles - Working Hunter Open, ATR & AAOTR, and Hunter Hack ATR & AAOTR. Stephanie also won Champion on him in the Hunter Classic!

Sharon Milchovich's SD Dartanian++++// was Champion in HA/AA Training Level Dressage ATR, and earned 4 Top Tens in First Level Dressage ATR, Hunt Seat Equitation Not-to-Jump, Sport Horse In Hand and Sport Horse Under Saddle.

Congratulations to all of the Tranquillity Team! Your successes are celebrated by all of us!
