Throughout a lifetime of experience riding, training and competing horses, Ricci and Stephanie Desiderio have developed a system for success that few others can obtain. Their names are synonymous with the highest level of acheivement in the Arabian and open hunter/jumper world.
Clear, concise training methods help their students make progress while building strength and confidence. This allows horses and riders to achieve their goals faster and with less stress. Full integration includes a nutritional, physical and mental program to optimize results safely and happily. Their family-oriented facility encourages participation for everyone.
The built-in support system enables students to learn quickly, communicate their needs, and advance their riding skills to the highest level desired.
About the Team
Ricci Desiderio
Ricci grew up with Arabian horses at his family's farm, then went on to apprentice under legendary trainers such as Gene LaCroix. His expertise in training, handling, teaching and marketing of horses and riders to be highly competitive is inspiring.
Stephanie Campas Desiderio
An accomplished hunter rider her whole life, Stephanie trained with a virtual who's who of the national hunter scene. She has won many National honors both in the saddle and as a trainer of youth and amateur riders and their mounts,
Michael Desiderio
As the eldest child, Michael has learned from a young age just what it takes to succeed, not only in horses, but in life. His accomplishments in the show ring have given him a reputation as the best young horseman of the millenium.
Lee Ann Hyde
Lee Ann is very well known for her beginner through intermediate lesson program with children on ponies or adults. She develops competant and confident riders here at Tranquillity in our Riding Lesson Program.
John Hardin Farm Manager
As a descendant of the original owners of Tranquillity, John not only lends himself as the resident historian, but also as the manager of our buildings and grounds. His expertise is invaluable.
