Tranquillity Farm is a full-service facility, offering boarding, training, lessons, show preparation and coaching at shows, sales preparation, breeding and transportation.

Owners Ricci and Stephanie Desiderio are legends in the show world, having amassed more National titles than any other trainers in history. Their children and their clients enjoy the distinction of being an integral part of this reputation. Famous horses and highly accomplished riders have gotten their start under Ricci & Stephanie's tutelage. Their dedication and expertise has no equal!

TRAINING

No matter how talented the horse or rider is, being successful in competition requires a great trainer, and we have four. From novice level through advanced, the Desiderios know how to build a winning team from the ground up. Confidence is derived from learning correctly, and their students' confidence and knowledge is evident in their successes, both in and out of the show ring.

We also pride ourselves in training your horse for show or pleasure, whether he is an unbroke youngster or a seasoned horse needing a tune up.

BOARDING

With over 50 years of combined horse experience, you can trust Tranquillity Farm to fulfill all of your horse's unique needs. Paddocks and pastures of lush, green grass surrounded by high quality plastic fencing ensure the safety of every horse during turnout. A temperature-controlled barn and indoor ring are constructed of the best materials, with every detail attended to!

Our pastures are planted and maintained under the direction of specialists at Rutgers University. An optimum blend of grasses and legumes keep your horse happy and healty. Our custom made feed program is balanced with our forage then fine-tuned to each individual horse's needs for optimum performance, health and maintenance.

HORSE TRANSPORTATION

Your horse deserves the best, most comfortable shipping to shows available. Our 10 horse tractor trailer features air-ride technology, box or standing stalls, lots of storage for tack and feed and a closed-circuit video system. SUMMER RIDING CAMP & CHILDRENS RIDING CLINICS

Our program combines qualified staff, experienced horses, and excellent facilities to create an atmosphere where campers can advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge, and enjoy riding with friends.

Our equestrian staff is qualified to teach a wide range of riders. Young beginners play mounted games and get to learn all about their favorite horses, while others may learn to post the trot, or canter or jump. More advanced riders may get to jump through gymnastics or over other obstacles.

Lessons in horse care, feeding, grooming and tack care are part of our fully integrated curriculum to allow students to gain the knowledge and sense of  responsibility so necessary to riding.Visit the Summer Camp page for more Information.
